Changes to Qantas’ Chauffeur Drive

Effective 1 March 2019, due to low take-up, Qantas’ complimentary Chauffeur Drive service will no longer be offered on Qantas operated flights in Auckland, Christchurch, Wellington and Singapore.

In another development, Qantas passengers using the service on arrival and departure in London, will have the complimentary mileage allowance reduced from 70 miles to 50 miles from the airport. If the journey exceeds the complimentary allowance, passengers will need to pay the driver for the additional distance at their drop-off destination.

Transfers are complimentary for customers travelling in First and Business when connecting to, or travelling on the following eligible Qantas flights:

Qantas will honour all existing Chauffeur Drive bookings made on/before 01 March 2019 for travel up until 01 March 2020.

All travellers with eligible bookings impacted by the changes for flights departing after this date will be contacted by the airline.

New bookings for Chauffeur Drive can be made on/before 1 March 2019 for flights departing on/before 1 March 2020.

Qantas will continue to offer the Chauffeur Drive service for eligible passengers travelling between Australia and London.
